The architectural firm, Lemaire Longeval, appointed AluK Belgium to design and supply aluminium window and door solutions for this stunning private villa in Groot Bijgaarden.
The project was conceptualized by the architect, the manufacturer, Van Hecke, and the owners of the villa, through a process of intensive collaboration.
The architects and owners fell in love with AluK’s Themis collection, a range of aluminium windows and doors characterized by steel look frames. In addition to its impressive appearance, it also provides excellent thermal insulation.
Thanks to Van Hecke’s expert knowledge of AluK products, they were able to skilfully manufacture the large 2,7m high windows, dividing them into smaller panels of 60 x 90 cm.
To create this impressive design, Van Hecke combined Themis profiles with steel-reinforced profiles from other AluK ranges, to achieve the strength, stability and sleek design required for this project.
This impressive and ambitious design lends a tranquil quality to the home, creating a harmonious oasis of calm.
